American Safety and Health Institute CPR and AED Training
Whether you're a first aid professional, or just need to learn the basics, the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) is a great place to begin your training. With courses in Basic First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and AED, you'll be equipped to help save lives.
ASHI's CPR courses are taught by certified healthcare professionals. These classes are recognized by the US Coast Guard and OSHA, and are accepted by state regulatory agencies. This means you'll be eligible for state and federal certification as a lay rescuer.
ASHI offers two levels of CPR certification: Basic First Aid and Advanced First Aid. Basic First Aid is ideal for lay rescuers, and is a 3-hour live in-person course. This course is designed to help students learn basic first aid skills and develop confidence.
The Advanced First Aid course is for those who require more first aid training. It includes CPR for victims of all ages, relief of foreign body airway obstruction, and relief of choking. It's also a great option for corporate emergency response teams.
HSI is one of the world's largest providers of emergency response and care training. It's authorized training centers are located throughout the US, and have certified more than 19 million emergency care providers in more than 100 countries.
The American Safety and Health Institute is the sister organization of the American Heart Association. This non-profit organization provides CPR and basic first aid training. As a sister organization, the two organizations work together to promote public health education and provide hands-on skills training.
